![]() ![]() Placement in multi-age groups encourages children of various ages and abilities to progress at their own rate rather than according to age or grade-level expectations. This curriculum is designed for both general education students and students with special needs in multi-age groups. Assessment is utilized to determine what is and is not working to identify gaps in children’s experiences and to provide valid, reliable indicators of student growth and achievement. High Scope Curriculum is a research-based program in which children learn through direct, hands-on experiences during play-based activities. A certified teacher along with a paraprofessional provide instruction using the High Scope Curriculum. ![]() Children have the opportunity to grow and develop with peers of varying abilities in the areas of social skills, play skills, language skills, motor skills, and early academic skills. This multi-age program consists of general education children along with children with special needs learning together in the same classroom. ![]() As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 721 students and 68.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.5:1.Holland Township School offers a district-sponsored integrated preschool program designed for children aged 3-5 years who reside in Holland Township. Students in public school for ninth through twelfth grades attend Delaware Valley Regional High School, together with students from Alexandria Township, Frenchtown, Kingwood Township and Milford. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings.
